South Salt Lake Poetry Lab is for everyone, but is perfect for beginners, perfectionists and "I'm not a poet" poets! Each day of the course, class members will receive a prompt via text or email with an invitation to write a poem; and then once a week, we meet in-person to engage in and discuss the great experiment of poetry. The goal of South Salt Lake Poetry Lab is to step out of our comfort zones and try to make something new each day, to play and explore without worrying if it is good or bad, to create in a community, to cheer each other on, and to journey out of the boxes we build for ourselves to create in.
