About the event
Kintsugi Grief Group: Finding Beauty in the Broken
Transform your journey of loss into a work of art.
In the Japanese tradition of Kintsugi, broken pottery is mended with gold, silver, or platinum, honoring the history of the object rather than hiding its fractures. This therapeutic group uses that same philosophy to explore the landscape of grief. Led by Michelle Markay Nelson, LCSW, this four-week series offers a safe, supportive space to acknowledge the "cracks" left by the loss of a loved one and begin the process of golden repair.
Through the hands-on practice of Kintsugi, mindfulness, and reflective writing, you will learn to view your scars not as flaws, but as symbols of resilience. Together, we will discover how a heart that has been broken can become stronger, more precious, and uniquely beautiful.
