South Salt Lake City Arts Council
Arts Council
The mission of the South Salt Lake Arts Council is to unite our community through art. We strive to support local artists, provide engaging opportunities for our residents to participate in the arts, contribute to our city's economic development by generating awareness about our existing cultural assets, and foster creative approaches to innovative growth that will remain true to the craftsman and industrial character of South Salt Lake.
Over the years, the South Salt Lake Arts Council has sponsored arts and cultural activities to provide our residence with opportunities to engage in the creative process. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organized and managed by the City of South Salt Lake with a volunteer board of Directors. We work closely with the community as well as city government departments to bring art into the lives of everyone who lives, works, worships, or plays in South Salt Lake.

We receive support from South Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, and a number of generous donors and arts supports, as well as in-kind support from countless artists and creative businesses.

See our work at city events, Arts Coalition gatherings, in local arts studios, and out on the streets. We hope you join us in making our city a great place to create and express yourself.
